History
Unity “Light of Mind” Education Group is an expansion ministry affiliate of the Association of Unity Churches International @ www.unity.org . Unity “Light of Mind” was an idea held in mind by the founder and visionary, Ethel Witt-McCall, LUT, who saw a need for bringing light into the darkness of the southwest side community and presented these ideas for expansion to the Unity Association, which was approved in October 2007.

Our Mission
As a pioneering ministry, Unity “Light of Mind” is a Spiritual Community Family, expressing God’s Love. Through our outreach initiatives and activities, we shall unite and build bridges with Unity and New Thought churches and groups, other religious organizations, non-profit organizations, and schools to activate the torch of light for changing minds to a better way of living through the practical approaches of Jesus Christ’s teachings

Unity Light of Mind Education Group is located in Chicago's Southwest side community. We bear the torch of light by spreading the Good News through practical approaches taught by Jesus the Christ: Spiritual education and enrichment (SEE) classes; small group ministries; prayer and meditation; praise and worship; chaplaincy program; Community outreach and activities; Spiritual healing, coaching, and counseling.

Our Purpose
The purpose is to assist in opening hearts and minds to the good (oneness of God) and change the mind-sets of darkness into “the Light.” In Fellowship Unity “Light of Mind” Education Group bears the torch of light by spreading the Good News through practical approaches taught by Jesus the Christ through Spiritual Education and Enrichment (SEE) classes; small group ministries; prayer, meditation, praise, worship, and chaplaincy program. “The Light” is also unified through our community outreach and activities; spiritual healing, coaching and counseling.
